The Cellar belongs to one of eight landowners whose property borders on the Wilderness Area. It offers unique wines with altitude, as SA’s highest vineyards, as well as plentiful hiking options, accommodation and wine tastings.
Only about 300ha is used for farming, the holiday resort and staff housing, with the rest of this unspoilt land placed under CapeNature’s care – with 5,200ha under conservation.
