This Saturday, 19 September 2026 at 20:00, the Artscape will host our Desmond Tutu United 4 Peace Concert — in partnership with WOMAD (World of Music, Arts and Dance) South Africa 2026 — staged in support of the Desmond & Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation’s Tutu95 Campaign.
Bringing together world-renowned artists, immersive soundscapes, and Archbishop Tutu’s enduring message of peace, justice, and humanity.
More than a concert, United 4 Humanity explores what happens when cultures, generations, disciplines and technologies meet. From the traditional voices and instruments of Africa to contemporary South African artists and international performers from Europe and beyond, the evening reflects the spirit of cultural exchange at the heart of WOMAD, and the Tutu legacy of connection, dignity, reconciliation and shared humanity. All proceeds from the concert will support the work of the Desmond & Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation.
The programme includes performances by Dyskinetic (UK), Jitsvinger, Koko Jean & The Tonics (Spain), Kimyan Law (Austria), Unmute Dance Company, Kapowairua (NZ), Enrico Cipollini (Italy), Anna Fält (Sweden), Susanna Aleksandra (Estonia), Cisalpipers (Italy), Arashka & The Shakti Project (Réunion Island), and the beautiful voices of the Yellowwood Primary School Choir.
💜 Here’s the part that matters most: every ticket you buy helps fund the ongoing work of the Desmond & Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation — carrying forward the Archbishop’s mission for justice, peace, and human dignity for communities across South Africa.
So when you book your ticket, you’re not just getting a night of unforgettable music and dance. You’re helping keep the Arch’s work alive.
Bring your friends, bring your family. Let’s fill the theatre and honour a legacy of unity together.
