Art.b Gallery are especially excited about their next exhibition because one of their lovely Art.b Committee members, Marietjie du Toit, will be taking over the gallery with her solo exhibition, “Brushstrokes of Memory”.
Opening Saturday, 12 September 2026 at 10:30 for 11:00, the exhibition brings together 80 oil paintings from a lifetime of painting, memory and observation.
Marietjie’s work is beautifully nostalgic, filled with familiar moments, people, places and stories that somehow feel as though they could belong to all of us.
“We’ve already had a few behind-the-scenes glimpses of what is coming… and this exhibition is going to blow your mind!”
She had not one, but TWO paintings selected as finalists in Vuleka 2026!
“Please mark your calendars and come celebrate this very special chapter with Marietjie and the Art.b family. We cannot wait to share it with you!”
