EARTHBOX x PLAY BY NATURE offers Imaginative holiday adventures – a series of exciting activities for children and adults alike during school holidays and Easter.
Short weeks and carefree days are in sight and at EARTHBOX they are celebrating nature and creativity for tiny tots as well as children from 5 years old.
FAMILY HOUR FOR LITTLE EXPLORERS
Although EARTHBOX is usually for children over age five only, every day between 9am and 10am they invite very young visitors (under fives) to come and explore with their parents. During this special family hour, under 5’s are free. Children over five are always welcome at EARTHBOX but should be accompanied by an adult.
“We will also be hosting a full sensory immersive clay painting and sculpting experience on Sunday 24 March with Play by Nature; specialists in creative sensory play. The one hour long experience created for children aged 3-8 years old, includes activities inside and outside the chamber with sessions at 9:30am and 10:30am.
Bookings are essential at a cost of R350 per child and R100 per accompanying adult. The experience begins 30 minutes ahead of the workshop start time with an EARTHBOX tractor ride.

On Easter Sunday 31 March, young visitors to EARTHBOX can expect a chocolate surprise and later on (15:00-18:00) the adults will enjoy a concert with the extraordinary voice of Thandeka Dladla as part of EARTHBOX’s Sunday Sessions.
Families looking to make a day of it will find plenty to do at Lourensford with restaurants, the weekly Sunday market and activities from Artjamming to Padel, archery and more.
EARTHBOX is open seven days a week and visits are reserved by choosing a time and date in the online ticket portal. The experience starts with a short tractor ride (a firm favourite with youngsters) to the site of the installation and visitors are given ample time to experience the chamber, grounds and earth-inspired shop.
