An exciting Museum Saturday awaits at the Rupert Museum, Stellenbosch, on 28 March, with the exciting Museum Saturday awaits at the Rupert Museum, Stellenbosch, on 28 March, with Easter weekend the following weekEaster weekend the following week.

From the much-loved annual Easter Hunt for youngsters (with a twist!) to an oil pastel workshop for adults, the day offers something for everyone.

Visitors can also enjoy

  • Wine tasting,
  • Live music with Seth Cort. – sit back and relax in the Café garden as you enjoy his soulful sounds. Be sure to grab something delicious from the pop-up menu.
  • Creative Corners – for the older creatives
  • Weaving the Archive community project. Join artist Heléne van Aswegen and Prof Lizabé Lambrechts for a hands-on community project where heritage, art and participation come together.

And then there’s the Easter Hunt in the gardens! Little ones, 4-7 years old, can look forward to clue-hunting and educational activities, all leading to delicious and entertaining surprises along the way. Find out more from the Programme, and you will also need to book. This is FREE.
