Juli Jana, Trudy Oosthuizen, Mzi Funo, Yvonne Thurtell and Fanie Marais have taken the metaphor of dance as the theme for their Let’s Dance exhibition at Art.b Gallery, at the Bellville library, this October.
Marlene le Roux, theatre director at Artscape, will speak at the opening at 11 o’ clock on the 11th of October 2025.

One of the artists, Juli Jana, also produced a book of verses which will be introduced to art and book lovers by Jacques Coetzee at the same event.
‘Our very existence is an opportunity to participate in the dance of eros (love) and thanatos (death). Our response to the life given to us becomes a poetic mystery when it is approached with both discipline and playfulness.’
