Singer, songwriter and performer, Deslynn Malotana will grace the audience with her astounding vocals at 7pm on 8 December at the V&A Waterfront’s Amphitheatre. Her deep passion for R&B/Soul music was easily influenced through her late father and founder of the 80’s band “Brenda and the Big
Dudes”. With her unique creativity in song writing, through to sharing her experiences, Deslynn will captivate the audience.

WHAT: Thunk
Celebrate the day of Reconciliation at 7pm on 16 December with the University of Northwestern’s oldest a cappella group, Thunk.
Established in 1993, Thunk is comprised purely of students, with an intake of about 20 members each year. This fantastic group has put on notable performances in London, Chicago and at our very own V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.

WHAT: Hassan’adas
At 7pm on Wednesday, 26 December, Hassan’adas will be firing up the stage with his original assortment of African rhythms and sounds for everyone to enjoy at the V&A Waterfront.
With John Hassan as the band lead, the band has performed globally and locally with legendary artists such as the late Miriam Makeba, the late Hugh Masekela, Simply Red and jazz artist Jimmy Dludlu to name a few.
