March of Freedom at the at Joseph Stone Auditorium – what better way to celebrate HUMAN RIGHTS DAY on Saturday, 21 March, than to join performers, both legendary and new, to honour the desegregation of our society and theatrical stages!
Beloved stage legends AMANDA STRYDOM, THEMBI MTSHALI-JONES and LOUKMAAN ADAMS, alongside NUUR LEEMAN, will lead you through South Africa’s theatrical and musical heritage – from the segregated stages of the past to the vibrant, multicultural present.
A special guest appearance by inspirational dancer and Britain’s Got Talent finalist MUSA MOTHA is not to be missed.
With musical direction by well-known STEFAN LOMBARD and a live band led by BLAKE HELLABY, the evening will pulse
with the sounds of Ghoema, Marabi, Cape Jazz, and African, Afrikaans and folk influences.
