Makukhanye Art Room is a theatre look-alike space where artists, companies and other institutions present their works, hold rehearsals, run mini festivals, do auditions, workshops, etc. It is a facility that helps young people develop their skills and also helps the community. This space has been a home for arts and artists in Khayelitsha, and has been used by artists in and outside Cape Town where they present various programmes.
