Zeitz MOCAA

Zeitz MOCAA’s vision is to produce and present cutting-edge contemporary exhibitions and art historical knowledge, enhance the careers of Africa’s most talented artists in the 21st century and beyond, strengthen its education programmes, and ensure access for all.

The museum’s varied spaces over seven floors include the cathedral-like Atrium, the museum shop stocked with art-inspired books and products, as well as rooftop terrace and sixth floor restaurant with breathtaking 270-degree views of Table Mountain and the city. Zeitz MOCAA’s multiple galleries feature rotating, temporary exhibitions with dedicated space for the permanent collection; the Centre for Art Education (CFAE); and the Atelier, a project space for emerging Cape Town-based artists.
