Join the Norval Foundation for their popular Holiday Art Club at the Norval Foundation Learning Centre – with 2 more sessions on 1 and 2 October.
Designed for young artists aged 7 – 12 years, this five-day programme offers hands-on workshops led by experienced art educators in a fun, supportive environment. Participants will explore a variety of artistic techniques and materials while drawing inspiration from the exhibitions and sculpture garden at Norval Foundation.
While the children create, parents can make the most of their morning at Norval Foundation. Enjoy working remotely or unwinding at our café with a coffee or breakfast.
1 October at 10am | Stained Glass-Inspired Art Workshop
Welcome spring with colour and light! Children will create their own stained glass-inspired floral artworks using kid-friendly transparent plastic, experimenting with colour, pattern and light. Their finished creations can be displayed on a window at home, catching the warm spring sunshine and bringing their artwork to life.
2 October at 10am | Layered Watercolour & Oil Pastel Workshop
Meet the Helmeted Guineafowl that roam the Norval Foundation Sculpture Garden. After learning more about these striking garden visitors and spotting them in their natural surroundings, children will take inspiration from their distinctive patterns and colours to create their own layered artwork using watercolour and oil pastel.
