This activity is for all who are interested in (re)looking images, and who are drawn to the possibility of creating their own from a given. By using an array of images, paper, and dry drawing materials, you are invited to create your own collage. Oh, bunny! It’s time for the annual Rupert Museum Easter Treasure Hunt, where youngsters will search for treats during fun and educational activities.

The Stills of Stern and Welz with artist Carl Becker

In this workshop with artist Carl Becker, you will look closely at some of the Irma Stern and Jean Welz still lifes that are part of The Art Collection of Huberte Rupert exhibition and find the lessons they have for aspirant Still Life painters.
By using Stern or Welz as guides, participants will paint their own still life in oil. You will learn more about composition, colour choices and paint handling. BOO K
