Diarise this Saturday 29th for the Stellenberg book launch and Saturday 12 April for the opening of the Diana Victor exhibition at David Krut Projects.
David Krut Projects Cape Town is launching Stellenberg: The Story of a Garden in association with Quivertree Publishing. The launch will happen on Saturday 29 March 2014 at 11am.
Andrew and Sandy Ovenstone who have run the Stellenberg gardens for 40 years will be doing a short talk and will be available for book signing. Refreshments will be served.
On Saturday 12 April 2014, DKCT will be presenting a solo exhibition of prints by by extraordinary printmaker, Diane Victor – the first solo show of her work in Cape Town since 2008. The exhibition comprises works created between 2008 and 2013, as well as a very early work from 1986. The keen selection brings viewers up to date with the artist’s production, as well as reiterating her mastery of the medium that has long served her unrelenting critical interrogation of everyday atrocities and the abuse of power.
