Special Event Celebrates the Love of Art at La Motte Museum

La Motte Museum invites art lovers to a special Art Talk on Saturday 24th October at 11h00 by guest presenter Robyn Cedras-Tobin, Director of the Rupert Museum, Stellenbosch.

The talk is titled ‘A legacy of commitment and a future unceasing – the Rupert family art collection’, and offers insight into a brief history of the Rupert Family’s art collecting practices by the Late Dr and Mrs Rupert in the 1940s, to the present-day projects of the Rupert Art Foundation.

For the love of Art is open to the public Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00 – 17:00
The La Motte Museum invites those who appreciate the finer things in life to a special exhibition selected by the estate’s owner, Hanneli Rupert-Koegelenberg. Complementing the permanent Pierneef exhibition, Celebrating the Love of Art features works by acclaimed artists such as Irma Stern and Maggie Laubscher.
