Artist Theo Kleynhans will present You think you’ve got time, a deeply personal exhibition and celebration of life, art and community, at Art.b Gallery in Bellville on 29 August 2026 at 2pm.
Following his diagnosis with liver cancer in July, Kleynhans has chosen to respond in the way he has long known best: through art, connection and the celebration of creative life. The exhibition will mark his final public appearance.
You think you’ve got time is more than an exhibition. It is a gathering around Theo’s life, his work, the people he loves, the friendships he has built and the creative journey that has shaped him.
For this special event, a group of South African artists and close friends have generously donated artworks. Proceeds from the exhibition will contribute towards Theo’s palliative care.

Catalogue and enquiries
Those unable to attend on the day will still be able to support the initiative. A catalogue of donated works will be available; to receive a catalogue, WhatsApp Janine on 082 463 5257 with the word CATALOGUE.
Friends, collectors, artists and members of the public are invited to come together to celebrate Theo Kleynhans while there is still the privilege of doing so in person.
