It’s September and Woman Zone Book Club welcomes Heritage Month with author Linda Rauch, some warmer weather and hopefully more time for reading!
To whet your appetite do join Woman Zone Book Club on Saturday 12 September from 10.30 to 12.30 In the Woman Zone Library
Granddaughter of one of apartheid’s longest-serving ministers, LIDIA RAUCH was born into a life of white privilege. After years in the political sphere, she turned toward a deeper kind of transformation and founded Bloom Enterprise to help people and organisations confront inherited stories, build cultures of fairness and empathy, and move from awareness to action, where inclusion is practised, not performed.
Her work calls all privileged South Africans to take responsibility with heart and humility. In her debut book, Apartheid’s Granddaughter, she explores how transformation becomes possible when we face our past with honesty and choose repair over retreat.
