June is Youth Month, and Woman Zone is starting with needles-a-knitting at Knit and Natter on June 1, followed by a Book Club date on June 21.
Woman Zone has also scheduled Book Club a little later in the month to allow time to celebrate the Youth Day weekend.

Meet guest author ANDILE CELE as she talks about her debut novel, BRAIDS & MIGRAINES, which considers the complexities around identity as it follows Nomandla’s journey to understanding.
ANDILE CELE, writer and communications specialist, is from KwaZulu-Natal. Having an autistic and nonverbal brother her advocacy for mental health awareness stems from the family experiences. She has a degree in Journalism from the Tshwane University of Technology, and a Creative Writing and Theory of Literature degree from the University of South Africa. She is an MA candidate at Stellenbosch University, Her short fiction has been published in Botsotso and Short.Sharp.Stories. Her debut novel, Braids & Migraines, was runner up for The Island Prize 2023. The judges said: “A novel of insight and emotion. Cele has the talent to both shatter and uplift, making her an invaluable new voice in South African literature.”
