Four Instagrammers embarked on a joint project – #YallaYebo – with the aim of exploring South Africa and Israel. Two Israeli instagrammers came to South Africa to photograph the vast cultures and landscapes across South Africa and in turn, two South African instagrammers went to Israel, mirroring this project.
The objective of #YallaYebo was to show how Israel and South Africa are similar in their diversity, through a #PhotoDialogue. The photographers explored and immersed themselves in each other’s countries, while artistically capturing all the similarities along the way.
The exhibition will be showcasing their photos to the public for the first time, right here in Cape Town. The exhibition has been carefully curated with images from each artist, to illustrate their journey and experiences.
The exhibition will open on Sunday evening 17th of March 2019 at the South African Jewish Museum in Gardens and will run until the end of May.
