Workshops Offered to all Children between the Ages of 6 and 16

Join Zeitz MOCAA’s BMW Centre for Art Education this December and January for an exciting season of children’s workshop activities over the 2025 summer school holidays.

Eight different activities will be offered this season at different levels of complexity to accommodate different skill levels and age groups, using a range of fun and exciting materials including paint, pastels, beads, funky fabric, felt, sparkly things and much more.

Workshops are offered to all children between the ages of 6 and 16. The workshop will begin between 10 am and 10.15 am and run uninterrupted until 1 pm. Children may also take a snack break between activities in the workshop venue. Children are reminded to wear activity clothes, but aprons are provided.

Entry for Non-members: R150 per child per workshop.

Non-members will drop their children off, but should they wish to visit the museum while their child is in a session, standard admission of R265 per adult applies.

Entry for Zeitz MOCAA Members and Mini Passport Holders: R100 per child per workshop.

Zeitz MOCAA members enjoy free access to the museum all year round. R265 Standard museum admission applies per adult for Mini Passport Parents.

Kindly note that booking on Webtickets is essential and workshop spots are limited. Please book early to avoid disappointment. Your workshop fee enables children from under-resourced communities to access and participate in Zeitz MOCAA’s holiday and community programmes, tours and workshops.

Parents and guardians are requested to deliver their children to the Scheryn Arena on Level 0, after producing the Webtickets proof of payment for the workshop at the front desk/reception. Your children will be welcomed and registered by our friendly studio assistants. Please do not leave your children unattended in the reception area.

During the workshop, parents are invited to view our current exhibitions and/or relax at the Level 6 restaurant, Ocular Lounge, with beautiful views of the harbour. Standard museum admission applies at R265 per person.
