So far 1747 images have been submitted in South Africa for the Wiki Loves Monuments competition. Just over 140,000 images have been submitted internationally since the beginning of the month by participants in 39 countries.
Also in the news, the Wiki Loves Monument photograph competition has now officially contributed over 1,000,000 images to commons over the past 4 years from country around the world.
