Combining ritual with rave the Holi Festival of Colours is a product of both globalisation and postmodernity.
Staged in more than 10 countries and over 30 cities worldwide, the event has its roots in a Hindu religious festival that celebrates the arrival of spring and the passing of winter — marking the victory of the good over the bad. This year, jazzy house collective Mi Casa, together with DJs Roger Goode, Pascal and Pearce, Jeremy Loops, LCNVL and Ryan L are on hand to keep the Rainbow Nation grooves flowing.
