Cape Town Tourism is attending World Travel Market (WTM) in London from 4 – 7 November as part of a larger City of Cape Town and World Design Capital 2014 delegation.

WTM is a leading global event for the travel industry and a key event for Cape Town Tourism to engage with traditional source markets.

CEO of Cape Town Tourism, Enver Duminy, says; “We are going to WTM to put our ear to the ground on behalf of our membership, who have asked specific questions around marketing and packaging. We will be reporting back on our findings and we look forward to meeting friends old and new at WTM.”

Cape Town Tourism will equip attending trade and media with resources that promote Cape Town as a top travel destination, and will be looking to identify future collaboration opportunities to increase arrivals to Cape Town and share knowledge between destinations.

In particular, Cape Town Tourism will support the City of Cape Town and Cape Town Design (organisers of World Design Capital 2014) in promoting Cape Town’s title year. In addition, Cape Town’s diverse tourism appeal and authentic activities will be on the table, along with a growing focus on Responsible Tourism.
