The Fray, an American pop group, is coming to South Africa this September.

The band will be performing hit songs such as Love Don’t Die, Over My Head, How To Save A Life and many more in Johannesburg’s Coca-Cola Dome on September 19 and the Grand Arena in Grand West Casino, Cape Town on September 20.

The four-man band formed in 2002 by band members Isaac Slade, Joe King (guitar and vocals), Dave Welsh (guitar) and Ben Wysocki (drums) are touring South Africa for the first time.

Their first single, Over My Head became a top 10 hit in the US but it was their second single, How To Save A Life, which brought them into the worldwide spotlight, going double platinum and earning The Fray a 2010 Grammy nomination for their self-titled release.

Tickets are on sale for Johannesburg and Cape Town from Big Concerts and Computicket and cost between R310 and R510.
