Wikimedia ZA invites you to the “Best of Wiki Loves Monuments” exhibition on Thursday the 8th May where some of the best photographs from the competition will be on display.  This forms part of First Thursdays, which in May has a focus on Bree

In September 2013 Wikimedia ZA organised the South African component of the Wiki Loves Monuments photographic competition, the largest photographic competition in the world.  Participants from over 50 countries submitted over 365,000 photographs of monuments that were donated to the creative commons for everyone in the world to enjoy copyright free.

On display will be the top photographs from the South African component of the competition as well as the international competition.

Photographs will be for sale to help raise funds for Wikimedia ZA.  Wikimedia ZA is a volunteer driven non-for-profit organisation representing Wikipedia editors in South Africa.

Please feel free to invite anyone who you feel would be interested.  It is a pop-up exhibition so it will only be open for one night only.
