The Hope @ Paul Cluver Amphitheatre’s last show of the season is set to take place on March 28th and will be one for the kids – a Children’s Theatre Festival.

Marking the first weekend of the school holidays, ticket holders can expect a performance of Roald Dahl’s classic, Fantastic Mr Fox, adapted for the stage by David Ford; and two award-winning plays from the Grahamstown National Arts Festival. The hilarious underwater adventure Get Kraken, by Jon Keevy will bill alongside the enchanting play Memory, by Nicholas Ellenbogen, which uses traditional African storytelling, mime and dance to take the audience on a journey with an Elephant.

The daytime festival will also see fun and games on the ‘fringe’ of the theatre, with the likes of a balloon twister, face painter and jumping castle on offer.

Book your tickets, pack a picnic lunch and make your way to the magical forest theatre for an afternoon of great entertainment. Food and snacks will also be on sale at the venue, as well as Paul Cluver wines, craft beers, soft drinks, teas and coffees.
