The Irma Stern Museum invites you to the thinking eye, an overview of the late Professor Neville Dubow’s oeuvre that spans 30 years and pays tribute to an important photographer and educator.
Prof Dubow was director of the Michaelis School of Fine Art (1971-1988), retiring in 1998, and founding director of the Irma Stern Museum.
The exhibition is curated by Marilyn Martin and Paul Weinberg.
An additional exhibition downstairs features work by 4th year photography students at the Michaelis School of Fine Art who participated in a workshop run by Josh Ginsburg; they offer contemporary engagements with and reflections on Neville Dubow’s practice.
