♦  Following the recent release of her track Zulu Turn Up, the award-winning singer Toya Delazy (born Latoya Buthelezi) will perform over the weekend. The Zululand-born star made news when she leaked her new album Ascension online in May alongside a tweet expressing her frustrations at having to pay for space in music stores. Delazy fuses RnB, hip-hop, house and traditional music.

 Moses Tladi Unearthed, the first major South African exhibition of the artist’s work. It features about 30 paintings sources from institutions and private collections locally and abroad. Tladi (1903–1959), a realist landscape painter, was the first black artist to exhibit formally in South Africa at what is now the Iziko South African National Gallery, first in 1931 and then in 1933. The current show features other artists whose work is in the same style or was produced at the same time that Tladi was painting. A book by Angela Read Lloyd, titled The Quest for Moses Tladi: The Artist in the Garden, accompanies the exhibition.
