How many have had the opportunity to visit the house of faith of a different religion and learn about how other South Africans worship?

Here is an opportunity – courtesy the Cape Town Interfaith Initiative.

Each year the Cape Town Interfaith Initiative organises a religious heritage bus tour to explore our religious heritage during heritage month.

This year the bus tour will be taking us to lesser known faiths – to

  • the Baha’i centre,
  • the Quaker Centre and the Quaker Peace centre, to
  • the Brahma Kumaris, to the
  • Claremont Main Road mosque and the
  • Claremont Wynberg Hebrew Congregation,
  • with a delicious vegetarian lunch thrown in.

WHEN: The bus leaves from below the Rondebosch station where security guards will be on duty for the cars, returning about 3 pm.

Enjoy a relaxing informative day learning more about our fellow citizens and meeting interesting people.

TICKETS: available through Quicket or contact James Ellman – Email CTII jamesectii@gmail.com to make arrangements to pay on the day.
