A MapMyWay must-see checklist if you are confused by the abundance of offerings at the Cape Time Fringe.
Machine Makes Man – the last chance to catch this hi-energy production is Thursday 29 at 19h00. Adina Verson-McQuilken and Michael Verson-McQuilken are superbly nuanced in their roles. The visuals and soundtrack add to the sheer delight of this wacky futurist comedy.
Eat, Post, Love is smart, sharp and sassy as Jaco Nothnagel negotiates virtual as opposed to real realtionships and socialising in this day and age. Two more shows on 29 and 30th.
The Finklesteins Are Coming To Dinner is a uncomfortably hilarious! ‘A play about love, death and sex’ says the blurb – an odd combo that is teasingly investigated. Worth the price of the ticket just to see energised Megan Furniss morph into an aged and grumpy old Jewish mother…. Shows on 1, 2, 6, 7 & 8 October.
Looking forward to Falling off the Horn, Sacre for One and Ubuze Bam on Friday and Saturday.
