The Big Issue #260 (January to February 2018) is available from your favourite vendor across the city. Be sure not to miss out on a fantastic art and photography issue.
The theme for this issue is ‘Neighbourhoods of the World’. Thanks to contributions from the 2017 Sony World Photography Awards, we catch a glimpse into neighbourhoods from around the globe, including Cape Town and Havana, Cuba (see page 4). Each photograph tells its own story.
If you’re a nature lover, look out for our wildlife photography (see page 16). The stunning Big Issue cover image of a puffin with a mouthful of sand eels was captured by Nigel Hodson on a trip to Skomer Island in Wales.
Big Issue also reached out to several local photographers (see page 14) and artists (see page 22) who graciously granted access into communities that they’ve captured in recent years. We hope that you will be as intrigued and delighted by their work as we have been.
