One of Rust-en-Vrede Gallery’s most popular exhibitions titled ‘The Grand’ will be opening online on 12 May at 11 AM.
Due to the lockdown restrictions, a digital catalogue and images will be made available at 11 AM on the gallery website and Facebook Page.
The Grand 5 (now in its fifth year) is a collaborative project between Rust-en-Vrede Gallery and the participating artists where all artworks are made available for purchase at R 1 000.00.
This is to encourage younger collectors to start their own art collection, and to enable everyone to own an original artwork by a reputable artist without breaking the bank.
This exhibition will also serve as a membership drive – a R 100 will be added to the buyer’s invoice (unless they are already paid up members for the 2020 calender year) as a means to enable the Rust-en-Vrede Gallery and Clay Museum to continue with its art and culture programmes amidst the COVID-19 Nationwide Lockdown.
