Women In Wine at Norval Foundation is a weekend celebrating exceptional wine brands with impressive women at the helm in conjunction with the current exhibitions featuring powerful female artists.
Women in Wine at Norval Foundation will be held in the Sculpture Garden on Saturday, 12 March and Sunday, 13 March 2022.
“The Western Cape is spoilt for choice with world-class wine regions and top-notch farms – there is definitely something for everyone at Women in Wine. We will be joined by a variety of wine tastings,
including organic and vegan wines, in the Cape Winelands and surrounds and encourage art and wine lovers to join us for this festive weekend.”
With The Zanzibari Years: Irma Stern, Kapwani Kiwanga: Shady and When Rain Clouds Gather: Black South African Women Artists, 1940 – 2000 all on show at Norval this is a propitious time to celebrate art whilst showcasing wine. “This creates a direct link between the intrinsic qualities of the product and the aesthetic qualities inherent in a work of art.”
