Kerry gives us the background to this distinctive gallery space located in Cape Town Harbour. She then talks us through the show and highlights the changes occurring in the opening up after the extremes of lockdown.
Autumn ’22 is a group exhibition featuring fourteen exciting local contemporary talents working in a variety of mediums. The artists featured include Fanie Buys, Willemien de Villiers, Bevan de Wet, Jonathan Freemantle, Koos Groenewald, Thalente Khomo, Grace Kotze, Aimee Lindeque, Jacki McInnes, Jozelle McLea, Sibusiso Ngwazi, Zandri Oosthuysen, Tamara Osso, Brett Rubin. Other available artwork is by Theo Ntuntwana, Manuela Holzer, the Spier Creative Blocks, and prints from the Warren Editions.
The Autumn 2022 Exhibition is the second Autumn group show at DAOR Contemporary. The artwork on exhibition includes photography, paintings, drawings, prints, mixed media works, and sculptures made from found objects.
