Meet the co-authors and facilitator
TESSA DOOMS Director at the Rivonia Circle, sociologist, political analyst, and development practitioner with a Master of Arts from the University of the Witwatersrand. Tessa is also a trustee of the Kagiso Trust.
LYNSEY EBONY CHUTEL Journalist and writer, she is a reporter for the New York Times as well as a number of other local and international news outlets, She is also a scriptwriter and has a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University and one in international relations from the University of the Witwatersrand.
NADIA KAMIES Turning her focus to writing after working with children as an occupational therapist, her work has been published widely, including a chapbook in collaboration with the Belgian LUCA School of Art. She has a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing from UCT, a PhD in History from the University of Pretoria.
