Waterbeach, a captivating international art group exhibition unveils a tapestry of aquatic inspirations in The Artists Gallery, Cape Town opening on 7 February at 6pm.
“WaterBeach” features a curated selection of artworks from four established artists, each offering a unique perspective on the theme. From abstract scenes to dynamic seascapes, the exhibition promises a rich tapestry of artistic expressions in a range of mediums and styles.
Local and International Talent
The exhibition is a testament to the vibrant art scene in Cape Town, with featured artists hailing from the local community: internationally acclaimed Cornè Theron who was granted a talent visa for working in France in 2019, abstract painter Jaime Danielle Smith who is currently living in Germany, and Marli Steyl, also from Cape Town. Additionally, the inclusion of international artist Mo Kilders from Germany, adds a global dimension to the showcase, fostering cultural exchange and relationships through art.
