Under8ed? To celebrate the end-of-year school exams, Webtickets and The Baxter are delighted to launch a brand-new event for young people under the age of 18 years old, Under8ed, in The Baxter foyer and garden on Friday, 6 December 2024 at 5pm.
A vibrant, high-energy event, specifically tailored for young people, features popular music played by top local DJs on stage, with an outdoor dancefloor, colourful lighting and matching decor. This specially created event, with its vibrant, electric atmosphere, is set to give a trendy, club-like vibe – without alcohol – where the youth can gather with their friends from various schools to celebrate the end of their final exams.
- Headlined by the multi-Platinum-selling South African songwriter, producer, DJ and singer, Timo ODV, the exciting lineup includes Sir Bongz, Chris Taylor, Amelia Rose and Hartley.
This first-of-its-kind event at The Baxter, will be supervised by staff, with security and medical teams on site to ensure everyone’s safety, while keeping the energy upbeat. The focus is on giving young people a space where dreams come alive and youth unite to have fun, connect and dance the night away. Under8ed invites the audience to embrace the joy of youth, to dance, laugh and create memories that will last a lifetime.
In addition to the multi-genre line-up, featuring these hottest acts, there will also be a variety of food stalls offering some mouth-watering, delicious treats, non-alcoholic beverage zones for refreshing drinks and an exclusive VIP zone.
Under8ed Line-Up
As one of South Africa’s most sought-after artists, TiMO ODV’s signature melodic beats, electrifying sounds and captivating performances have taken him to some of the biggest stages around the country. With over 80 million streams worldwide and multiple Platinum records, his music has become a staple across South African dance floors and beyond.
TiMO has headlined some of South Africa’s biggest events, such as Ultra, Ballito Rage and Rocking the Daisies.
