The Jolly Carp Organic Market takes place every Saturday at 38 Sasmeer Road, Retreat, Cape Town from 10am – 3pm.

Fresh Fish orders & pickled fish can be bought from Aurbon at the market! Order now for Easter, he will also deliver! Calvin has fresh snoek on the braai and lovely fish frikkadels made with fresh fish every Sat.
This month’s bounty:
VEGGIES:
Spinach freshly picked from the Jolly Carp garden! From our small organic farmers: potatoes, onions, lettuce, cucumber, gem squash, green beans, spring onions, tomatoes, green peppers, butternuts, brinjals and bananas.
Food: Chicken curry, roti & curry, mediterranean sausage with rice. Pan -fried fresh fish and salads, pickled fish, Crayfish on the braai, Breyani, samoosas, giant pancakes with savoury or sweet fillings, Farmers breakfast.
ORGANIC PRODUCE:
We’ll have fresh brown eggs, farm fresh butter, fresh health bread and organic teas, aloe juices, aloe jams, freshly made tomato jam and apricot jam.
