Lana English & Victor Siljeur in cabaret @ Cafe Manhattan

From Thursday 02nd May, Cafe Manhattan will be hosting Lana English & Victor Siljeur, the dynamic brother and sister duo who count among their career highlights performing at Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s 70th birthday party, meeting Mandela and performing at the Angolan palace for the wedding of the Angolan President José Eduardo dos Santos’s son. The show is titled “From Opera to Musicals”.

The duo have performed internationally in London, Seychelles, Mauritius, Kenya and Namibia and fondly recall performing at the private residence of renowned BBC Gourmet Chef James Martin for his birthday. Lana is also well-known for her role as ‘Christine’ in the South African production of The Phantom of the Opera (2004) and has also sung with the S.A. Navy Band.

The duo have dazzled many audiences with their stunning voices and beautifully selected compositions from light opera and Broadway musicals, including well-known compositions from Puccini to Verdi, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and songs made famous by Sarah Brightman, Josh Groban, Boccelli and Pavarotti. Their solos and duets alike are guaranteed to lift the spirits of all who hear them and leave the audience demanding an encore.
