Fly away from Cape Town with All the World’s a Stage and dance the world with The Waterfront Theatre Company at the Masque Theatre, Muizenberg. With over 300 Costumes, 35 Dance Routines, Six Choreographers and 60 Dancers, this show is as action packed as an overseas trip or adventure!

Samba your way through Brazil, Salsa into Puerto Rico and Tango around Argentina! Then jet off to the USA – where you will find your souls in Memphis, party at Studio 54, dazzle in NYC and sway to the Blues in New Orleans. Explore the culture of India and Japan, discover the magic of Riverdance, stop off for a Ballet in Paris and sit front row at the Italian Fashion Week, before flying back home to the glorious landscapes of Africa!

Choreographers Shona Brabant and William Jones have created new works; ‘Jet Set’, ‘Warriors of the Amazon’ and ‘Praise’. James Bradley presents two new pieces ‘Ménage à Tango’ and ‘Slave to Fashion’, Simone Marshall-Kleinenberg debuts ‘#Beats! ’, a Tango inspired piece ‘La Danza’ and ‘Festivo!’ Marguerite Jones’s newly created ‘A Moment in Time’ and ‘Move Together’ will take you on an emotional journey, and Genna Galloway brings the original choreography of Keith Galloway’s ‘Living To Do!’ and ‘Mambo!’

In addition to highlighting the best of the College’s dance faculty, ‘All the World’s a Stage’ is a fundraiser for The Waterfront Theatre College’s Bursary Fund which supports the future generation of young Artists.

The Dancers are from first to fifth year students, majoring in Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre.
