Archbishop Desmond Tutu and His Holiness Dalai Lama, are leading a global #SharetheJoy campaign this month.

The Archbishop has introduced this campaign in his a personal message asking for your support, which will be going live tomorrow.

Right now, the world faces a tremendous challenge, many are experiencing unprecedented levels of anger, divisiveness, pain, fear, suffering and isolation. The Dalai Lama and the Archbishop – two men who have endured true suffering – hope to show, in these dark times, that joy and compassion will always win and to show how we can discover joy in the face of adversity and suffering.  A message we need so much at this time.

To help share this message, they have co-authored a book, called The Book of Joy, which will be published worldwide in September and the goal is to turn this moment into a larger movement, that brings the world together to create, share and experience joy.

We’re asking people the world over to help us shine a light in the darkness and not let fear, hate or division have the last word.

We are hoping to reach millions with this movement – in the UK we have confirmed support from Richard Branson, Alanis Morissette, Ariana Huffington, Brene Brown, Susan Cain and more with around a 11.5 million reach.

How can you participate?

We would love it if you would record a short smartphone video about what gives you joy.  Email info@mapmyway and we will  forward a document explaining how you can take part – it would be so great to get you and your powerful message out there too!
