Outside II – an urban contemporary group exhibition at 34 Fine Art Gallery includes Bambi’s take on iconic Madiba.
If Warhol had been alive today, he would undoubtedly have poroduced a series of rainbow-hued screen-printed Nelson Mandela portraits. In his absence, British pop star-turned-stret artist Bambi has done the honours. Dubbed the ‘female Bansky’, Bambi will debut her new limited edition of the Mandela series titled Tata, as part of 34 Fine Art’s Outside II – an urban contemporary group exhibition. Other artists on the show include the actual Bansky as well as Ben Eine, Invader and Mr Brainwash. They’re joied forces by local artists Norman Catherine, Asha Zero, Jade Doreen Waller and Warren Petersen.
