The Creative Nestlings Cape Town Street Art Graffiti Competition is around the corner.
Comic and graphic artist Atang Tshikare, Gareth Campbell of graffiti magazine Road Kill, mural artist Martin Lund, graffiti and shack artist Zola Tsotetsi, animator Ofentse Letebele and pop artist Dylan Williams are among the young talents selected for the inaugural Creative Nestlings Cape Town Street Art Graffiti Competition. They’ll be transforming the Langa Quarter into a gallery over the course of three days and the public are invited to watch them in action and help to select a winner who’ll walk away with a commission to create a mural in Cape Town’s central business district. The prize-giving on December 24 coincides with the regular Langa Market, where locally made arts and crafts will be on sale.
