NEWS FLASH FROM ASPIRE!
South Africa is preparing for a national lockdown from Thursday, 26 March in a united effort to combat the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
To accomodate our clients during this time, the Aspire X Caversham Auction will now close on Friday, 27 March at 11 am.
Under these circumstances, we will not be able to broadcast a live auction, and have elected to adapt the format to a Timed Online auction which will run through our website. We encourage clients to participate by bidding online only – safely from your home.
The Aspire X Caversham Timed Online auction is currently open for bidding.
We invite you to view the e-catalogue or place your bids here.

The Aspire X Caversham auction will proceed on Thursday 26 March at 7 pm in Johannesburg and clients can bid on the lots in a variety of safe and secure ways.
As the global economy readjusts to the changing physical and economic environment, it is imperative that trade continues to support and sustain the art industry and our economy at large.
Remote and digital bidding is not new to the auction market. Aspire Art Auctions has, since inception, embraced various innovative and technology-based platforms for clients to easily interact with the company in a live auction environment. In keeping with this ethos, Aspire will continue with a live sale environment for the Aspire X Caversham auction which will be broadcast online from 7 pm.
Aspire will unfortunately not be open to the public, but will present a digital feed of their auctioneer conducting the sale and various remote bidding platforms will be made available.

The Aspire X Caversham auction is currently open for online bidding. View the e-catalogue or place your bids here.
This auction is a rare and unique opportunity to purchase a piece of South African printmaking history. As the Caversham Press is no longer operational, the artworks that were produced during its tenure are a limited and finite quantity. All prints offered are in mint condition, and the collection contains some of the most coveted prints produced by celebrated South African artists. Don’t miss out!
Aspire welcomes viewings by appointment. The Johannesburg team of specialists are also available by email and mobile phone – see below.
