AVA Satellite Gallery opening at Artem takes place on Saturday 6 November from 12 noon!
Remember the thrill of watching a live performance? The satisfaction of creating something beautiful with your own hands? Viewing and exhibition on gallery walls? And who remembers the old Adelphi Cinema and the name of the fabulous Italian restaurant on the corner?
A series of public art activations has been designed by the Association for Visual Arts to bring you just that this season, from a brand new space that was offered to us by ARTEM in Sea Point. An AVA satellite gallery has been installed on the first floor, and art events have been scheduled to spread out into the central shopping galleria, onto the LED video screen, and throughout the centre at large
