New Year would not be the same without the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra and Richard Cock ringing it in, Viennese style.
The concert at the Cape Town City Hall on Sunday, January 5 at 19:00 will feature soprano Hlengiwe Mkhwanazi and tenor Sipho Fubesi as they waltz or march you down the Blue Danube.
Works include the gorgeous Donna Diana overture, as well as arias by Puccini and Verdi and a number of Strauss father and son galopps, waltzes, marches and polkas, all melodies to hum and sing.
