Cape Town’s Love Jazz Cruise

Cape Town’s Love Jazz Cruise, now in its 3rd year, sounds like a memorable BASH!

But then tea with Charlene Surtie Richards, a reading by Bruno the psychic, fabulous live music on deck in the morning and at sunset featuring such names as the Rockets, Alistair Isobel, Jonathan Rubain and Candice Thornton,  all backed by the exceptional Camilla Lombard band, theme parties every night and food on tap, makes this the hottest ticket of the year!

And this is besides well known mentalist Larry Soffer floating around reading your mind, popular and hilarious comedian Soli Philander, DJ’s Uncle Cal and Rory spinning discs, Hilton Carelse’s Karaoke bar,  the casino, the swimming pools, the gym, deck activities and the entertainment provided by the cruise liner itself.  Who needs sleep?

WHAT & WHEN: The Love Jazz Cruise 2015, is on the MSC Opera and it leaves Cape Town docks at 16h00 on Friday Jan 16 and returns at 08h00 on Monday January 19.

The stereotype that cruises are only for middle-aged and elderly holiday makers is no longer.  Cruising is trending world-wide and the biggest increase in sales, in The United Kingdom for instance, has been in the 18 to 30’s age group which is 38% up from last year.

And South Africa is right behind them.

The Love Jazz Cruise will berth at Mossel Bay Harbour for the day on Saturday and there are various on shore excursions to choose from. Alternatively passengers can just browse around this cute little town and maybe do some shopping or play a round of golf.

All the details are on the Facebook Group named “The Love Jazz Cruise”.
