by | Sep 14, 2020 | News | 0 comments

In celebration of Tourism Month, CapeNature will allow free access to selected reserves in the Western Cape for the week of 16 to 22 September.

Locals and visitors are encouraged to make use of the free access week opportunity to explore CapeNature Reserves by Local Government, Environmental Affairs and Development Planning, MEC Anton Bredell.

MEC spokesperson James Brent-Styan: “Our reserves are places where people can go to regenerate, get in touch with nature again especially after the long period of lockdown that may have got many of us down over the last few months. This is an ideal opportunity for a family trip to the great outdoors.”

Visitors to participating CapeNature reserves will be allowed free day entry (excluding overnight stays) ranging from the West Coast to the Winelands, Overberg, Garden Route and even the Klein Karoo.

During Access Week, free day access will allow for participation in a number of activities ranging from hiking and walking to mountain biking. Visitors must please note terms and conditions that apply.
