“COMING OUT … The idiot’s guide to being a bit light in your slippers” is the title of a persuasion changing cabaret at Cafe Manhattan in de Waterkant – the hdeart of Cape Town’s Pink Village.

A straight boy from a small town far-away is sent to Cape Town, by his father, to find out “what is this thing called a homo”, and is he perhaps one? Deep in the heart of Green Point he meets a drag diva who instructs him in all things queer – the music, the language, the dress and, of course, the sex! Before we know it, orientations are a-changing, hormones are a-raging and love is in the air!
Billed as a ‘persuasion changing cabaret’ the story will bring tears of laughter and sadness to your eyes, with many well known and loved songs including ‘This is my life’, ‘I will survive’, ‘Love potion no. 9’, ‘Great Pretender’, ‘Dancing queen’ and many more.
Tickets R69 per person. The show begins at 21h00.
