♦ Neville D will record his first live DVD, titled The Beauty of Difference, which will feature his well-known hit song performed alongside a 100-piece choir. He will share the stage with singers Charisma Hanekam, Jonathan Rubain, Carol Blake and Khaya Mthethwa, the winner of SA Idols 2013.

♦ Comedians Nik Rabinowitz and Kagiso Mokgadi, Nkosinathi Maki and Siya Seya are making audiences laugh for a good cause this winter. The comedy night is in aid of the Ambleside School of Hout Bay so that underprivileged pupils from Hangberg can attend school. The event will have a “candlelight vibe” and feature food traders and a bar with wine and seven different beers on tap.
