A weekly round-up of the country’s hot-ticket events includes two exhibitions at the Stellenbosch University Museum.
The Stellenbosch University Museum, in co-operation with the Nelson Mandela Museum, is currently hosting two exhibitions:
Dear Mr Mandela, Dear Mrs Parks: Children’s Letters, Global Lessons -inspired by the hundreds of children around the world who wrote letters to Mandela and the late Rosa Parks.
Freedom XX: 20 Pieces of Democracy (curated by the staff of the University Museum). For the latter, each of 11 staff members were asked to select an artwork that, in his or her opinion, represented the period 1994 – 2014 and to write a short piece explaining why the work represented the period.
